Administrators can use the attendance digest feature to schedule attendance messages to parent contacts of students who are absent or late:
Administrators receive direct replies.
Parent contacts only receive one message instead of period-level messages if your school records attendance at the period level.
You can configure the attendance messages to go out in real-time or as a daily digest message. Creating an automated attendance digest allows one administrator to handle all attendance communications.
Create an Automated Attendance Digest
From the main menu, click Attendance Digest in the Messaging section.
Click New Attendance Digest to begin the Attendance Digest Wizard.
Choose Digest to send messages on specified days and times.
New York City districts can choose Real-time to send messages when attendance is recorded.
