Share Public Links to Lessons for Specific Day, Week, or Semester

This feature is available to Chalk Gold subscribers and teachers whose schools are subscribed to the Instruction Solution. You will not have this option if you are a free user.

This article will show you how to access public links for days, weeks, or semesters to share with anyone you want. Anyone with the public link will be able to see all lessons for classes with enabled visibility for the chosen time frame, as well as any saved changes made to the original lessons. Sticky notes are not visible to people who access the public link.

Do not include information in your lesson plans that you do not want others to access.

1. Navigate to the lesson you want to share.
   
   1. To share lessons for a specific day:
      1. Navigate to the date you want to share from the Day Planner. Click the Share button for the date, then click Public Link.
   2. To share lessons for a specific week: 
      1. Navigate to the week you want to share from the Week Planner, click the Share button for the date, then click Public Link.
   3. To share lessons for an entire semester: 
      1. From the Lessons menu, choose Semesters.
      2. Move the pointer over the semester you want to share and click the Share Lessons icon.
2. On the Public Link page, click Copy to copy the generated link. This is the link you will share.

3. Choose which sections you want to Show from the public link.

   

   These settings only apply to the particular day, week, or semester you are sharing, and you cannot produce multiple links for the same time frame.

When people navigate to this link in their browsers, they can review your shared lessons, including attachments, embedded videos, and assigned standards.
