System administrators can manage which roles in their organization have the permission to link their accounts.
Allow account linking permission
System administrators can activate or deactivate account linking from their Manage Users area.

From Tools, select User Management.

Select Permissions.

From User Settings, select roles to enable the Allow account linking permission.

Click Save permissions.
Clearing the account linking permission does not affect associations between parent and child accounts in an organization.
