Course Materials: Assignment (students)

Assignments are a type of graded material and may require you to submit a file. After submission, the instructor can grade the assignment, provide feedback, and return a file to you.

Three file options are available.

Description

Upload

Select a file from your computer.

  • Supported file types include: CSV, DOC, DOCX, DXF, EPS, GIF, HTM, HTML, JPEG, JPG, MP3, MP4, MOV, ODP, ODS, ODT, PDF, PNG, PPT, PPTX, PSD, RTF, SXW, TIFF, TXT, WAV, WMV, WPD, WPS, XLS, XLSB, XLSX, and XML

  • Maximum file size: 512 MB

Create

Create a document on the web using the text editor.

Resources

Choose a file from your Resources.

  • The assignments document viewer does not convert Apple Pages, Numbers, or Keynote files. However, your teacher may be able to download these submissions.

  • You can attach as many files as needed, but each file must be uploaded individually.

Submit a file 

  1. From an assignment, click Submit Assignment.

  2. Optionally, enter questions or concerns in Add a Comment.

  3. Choose Upload, Create, or Resources.

  4. Enter or select the necessary information. 

  5. Click Submit.

Review submissions

Review your submission from the Submissions page. To make another submission, click Re-submit Assignment from your original submission.
