New Schoology apps in the App Center | DeltaMath LTI 1.3 This app offers SSO, rostering, and grade passback. Teachers can create and push assignments to students. SKIES Learn SKIES is the easiest way to create and deliver collaborative lessons. It's like a class bulletin board, but bigger, and everyone can branch out from others' ideas endlessly. Add informational cards containing rich text, photos, drawings, web links, and more. Slip in questions to kick off a discussion. Attach quiz questions to discover what everyone else knows. Teachers, it's never been easier to make a lesson -- and students, it's never been easier to add to one. Great for formative assessment, labs, discussions, group work, and student presentations. |
Support for multiple building associations in Schoology-PS SIS integration | Schoology now automatically syncs all active building associations for students and staff from PowerSchool SIS. Any changes made in SIS - adding, updating, or removing associations - are instantly reflected in the Schoology User management interface, eliminating manual updates and reducing errors. Administrators always have an accurate, up-to-date record of building assignments within Schoology. Note: To use this update, districts must be on PowerSchool SIS version 25.12.0 or later. The change only affects users with student, teacher, or standard staff roles. Staff assigned custom roles, for example, counselors are not affected. |
Flags will persist after grading in Gradebook | All flags in the gradebook will continue to be displayed and associated with a material even after it has been graded. This will increase transparency in the grading process by reducing ambiguity and potential miscommunication between educators, students, and guardians. Admins will have the ability to opt-in for this functionality through Feature Options setting. |
Skyward Q for SIS Connect: OAuth1 fallback ends | OAuth1 will no longer be supported for Skyward Q in SIS Connect. Districts configured with OAuth1 will need to update their credentials in Skyward. Users who have already upgraded their credentials have no action to take. |
Automated distribution of course templates moves to general availability | Map course templates directly to courses to automatically populate new sections from the template. Save time from manually sending templates to new sections no matter how sections are provisioned into Schoology. For more information, see Automated course template distribution. |
Group enrollment import for group admins | Group administrators, whose system administrator has granted them user permission, will be able to import enrollments to groups they administer. |
Auto-import de-duplication changes | We are updating the auto-import processing experience to harden against duplication of jobs and data. Where applicable, we will queue scheduled jobs after manual imports or prevent multiple imports jobs from being run at the same time to avoid the duplication of data and improve auto-import integrity. |
