Schoology Learning Release Notes: July 2023

A new modern, refreshed, Schoology design with updated icons, fonts, and colors available for users.

Users now have the option to utilize a brand-new set of icons, colors, fonts, and UI changes designed to captivate and upgrade the visual experience of the Schoology application. These elements from PowerSchool's go-forward design system are carefully curated to enhance your interaction and elevate the overall user experience.

Security Update for Android Mobile Security

This release includes security updates in the Schoology Learning Android mobile app. Users must upgrade to the latest version of the app, 2023.05.1 in order to log in to Schoology Learning via an external authentication method (e.g. SAML, Microsoft, or Google).

Search Common Assessments within Schoology

We're excited to announce that we've added a search option to the existing Common Assessments option within Schoology. Now when you go to add an assessment from your linked Performance Matters account using the existing Common Assessment option, you will have access to a helpful search box to more easily find the right assessment for your students.

New Schoology apps in the App Center

• Emotional ABCs is America's most awarded, evidence-based CASEL SELect Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program for children ages 4-11. Find it at: https://app.schoology.com/apps/profile/6751489287 Privacy Setting: As a Resource app, no personal information is shared.

• Flip is a free app from Microsoft where educators create safe, online groups for students to express their ideas asynchronously in short video, text, and audio messages. Find it at: https://app.schoology.com/apps/profile/6772574592 Privacy Setting: The app sends the Name and Email/Username of the user who launches the app.
