Introducing My Student Groups | We are adding the ability for teachers to assign material to Student Groups that they created in PowerTeacher Pro and Performance Matters (when connected to PowerSchool SIS). This provides additional continuity across classroom tools so that teachers can assign material to students they have already identified (grouped) for various purposes. |
Teachers can choose for a material to be marked for collection. | Teachers can elect to not add a traditional score for a material by selecting the collection type as Collected. Customers using District Mastery may continue to score the material for objective mastery. This setting will sync to PowerTeacher Pro. The Collected exception code can be requested to be enabled for customers if it is not available to their district by contacting Support. The Collected exception codes pass the status of Submitted with a score of zero for the material for some SIS integrations. |
Teachers can choose to exclude materials from grade calculations. | Teachers can use the Count in Grade functionality to indicate to parents and students when a material is not being used in the calculation of grades. This setting will be included in the sync to PowerTeacher Pro. |
New Exception Code Functionality for Course Administrators | Course Administrators can now mark materials with Absent and Late Exception Codes to better communicate assignment status with students. These new exception codes will pass to PowerTeacher Pro. Course Administrators can now elect to have assignments marked with the Missing exception code not count as a zero, and instead have no score. |
