Why are students missing my class?
The reason for absences for each class/period.
| Type | Column Label / Definition |

| Dimension | Absence Reason The primary reason for the absence. If a class spans 2 or 3 periods it will typically have 2 or 3 absence entries (one for each period) and the reason could potentially vary. Typical values include Unexcused, Medical, Athletic, NA (Not Applicable), etc. Reasons can (and often do) vary by School. |
| Dimension | Course The course and the period it is taking place in. |
| Dimension | Term The term number for the related school (1, 2, 3, etc.). Note that dates outside the defined term are set to Term of 0. |

How prevalent are tardies in my classes?
The number of tardies for each class/period.

Who are my students trending towards chronic absenteeism for my class?
Students and their level of chronic absence.

Who are my students with absences or tardies?
All students with at least 1 absence and/or tardy for your class.

| Dimension | Course The course and the period it is taking place in. |
| Dimension | Attendance Type The type of attendance data for that period. As this is an absence (or negative attendance) table the types are: Absence, Late (Tardy), or Unknown. |
| Dimension | Student ID The student's code or ID number for the SIS system. This is padded with proceeding zeros to seven positions (e.g., 82901 becomes 0082901). |
| Dimension | Student name The student's full name: last name, first name, middle initial, and suffix (Kirk, James T. Jr.) |
