Absence Reason The primary reason for the absence. If a class spans 2 or 3 periods it will typically have 2 or 3 absence entries (one for each period) and the reason could potentially vary. Typical values include Unexcused, Medical, Athletic, NA (Not Applicable), etc. Reasons can (and often do) vary by School.
