| Dimension | Student ID The student's code or ID number for the SIS system. This is padded with proceeding zeros to seven positions (e.g., 82901 becomes 0082901). |
| Dimension | Age The student's age in years - computed from Birthdate. This is the current age of an Active student, and the age at withdrawal date if Inactive. |
| Dimension | Status A high-level status grouping: Active, Pre-Enrolled, Expelled, Transferred-Out, Graduated, etc. |
| Dimension | Ethnicity The student's primary racial background: American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black, Hispanic, Unknown/Unspecified, White. |
| Dimension | Current School School name where the student is currently enrolled - Beechcroft High School, Welcome Center at North, Prof. Inst. Walnut Ridge Hs, etc. Use in reports & analyses only as a student attribute - enrollment fact data should be used for student profiles. |
| Dimension | Grade The student's grade level. |
| Dimension | Current Cumulative GPA The student's cumulative GPA calculated and frozen from the previous school year. This is the unweighted GPA. |
| Dimension | Mobility The number of times a student has changed schools during the past 365 days (past 12 months). |
| Dimension | ELL Indicates whether the student is currently active in an English as a Second Language program (Yes or No)? If the student is withdrawn and was participating in ESL at the time of withdrawing then they will be set to Yes. |
| Dimension | Language The student's primary language: English, Spanish, Hmong, Urdu, etc. The default of null to English is in synch with most State Reporting. |
| Dimension | SPED Indicates (Yes/No) whether the student is currently receiving special education services (either in regular classroom or special ed unit). |

| Dimension | Mark Short name for the performance group: A, B, C, NI, XL, P.. Full marks will be shortened - A, A+ or AH will all be represented here as A based upon Effort definitions in the Domains table. Student mark categories include A, B, C, D, F, 1, 2, 3, 4, Pass, Incomplete, and No Credit. |
| Dimension | Period (METADATA) - An assessment-specific (non-conformed) testing window. Some examples include Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, Beginning, Middle, End, etc. Use -- when not applicable. |

| Dimension | Course Name The full name for the course - this is the primary course name to be used in most reports, analyses, and filters. In state/multi-district deployments this is often conformed to the State or NCES Course Description. |
| Dimension | Course Subject (METADATA) - The subject area of the course - English, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc. This is either from the subject field in the course master or the description for the NCES 2 digit code associated with this course. |
| Dimension | Course Type The major classification of the course. This may be used for the high-level state or NCES classification of this course or for the associated Diploma type. |
| Dimension | Credits The weighted credit value for the mark received. This is the value considered when computing Total Credits for most purposes. A=1, B=1, D=1, F=0, etc. |
| Dimension | Grade Grade code from eSIS for the student's grade level for the current school year. 00, 01, 02, UG, PS, DC, etc. |
| Dimension | Grading Period A code that indicates a grading, marking, or report card period. Examples include FS or SS (Fall or Spring Semester Final Marks) and PR1 or RP6 (Progress Report Periods 1 or 6). This may differ from the Marking Period in the School Calendars as there may be several marking periods that end on the award date for a mark. In those cases, this is the most accurate data. |
