Manage improvement plans
The Improvement Plans page displays a list of existing improvement plans. Use this page to create, copy, edit, and delete existing plans.
An improvement plan is available to the staff member who created the plan or to staff with RLS links to the staff for whom the plan was made. District administrators can view and edit improvement plans created by other staff. An improvement plan can only be deleted by the staff member who created the plan.
If needed, use the table column filter functionality to limit the number of records.
The system pulls the current staff data for assessment, attendance, behavior, and demographic fields when you create a plan. The data is not automatically updated unless an administrator requests a data refresh for the template.
Create a plan
From the Utility Apps menu, choose Improvement Plans.
Navigate to the Plans tab.
Click New Improvement Plan.
Choose a Plan Template.
Enter a Plan Name.
In Find Schools, enter the school name. At least three characters are needed to return search results.
In Find a Staff, enter the staff name. At least three characters are needed to return search results.
Specify a Start Date and End Date. The start or end date cannot be a past date.
Click Continue.
Expand the Panel header and fill out the necessary information. Changes are saved automatically.
Copy a plan
You cannot change the staff or template when copying a plan.
On the plan you want to copy, click the Copy (paper) icon in the Action column.
Enter a new Plan Name.
If needed, select the Assigned Staff.
Specify a Start Date and End Date. The start or end date cannot be a past date.
Click Save.
Update a plan
On the record you want to edit, click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Action column.
To update the Plan Name or Find a Staff member, click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the plan name. When finished, click Save.
To edit the plan details, expand the Panel header and make the necessary updates. Changes are save automatically.
Delete a plan
On the record you want to delete, click the Delete (trash) icon in the Action column.
Click Delete again to confirm the delete action.
Bulk-edit plans
To bulk-edit multiple plans:
Select multiple plans or select all plans in the table header to select all records.
Click Bulk Edit.
Choose from available actions:
Change All Date Values: Enter a Start or End Date. The start date can be in the past.
Delete All Selected: Select to delete all selected records.
Click Save.
