Feature

Description

Assessment data retrieval for MTSS intervention goals

The MTSS application was enhanced to integrate assessment data, specifically assessment marks, into your intervention goals, making it easier for you to evaluate student performance.

How to access the feature

  1. Navigate to Utility Apps, MTSS Interventions, and All Interventions.

  2. Select an intervention.

  3. Click the Goals tab.

  4. Click Retrieve Data.

How to retrieve assessment data

  1. Select the Goal for which you want to retrieve assessment data.

  2. Set the data type to Assessment.

  3. In the Data Selection panel, make the following selections sequentially: school year, assessment source, assessment subject, assessment name, and score type.

  4. In the Data Preview panel, review the populated student data and calculated values.

  5. Click Retrieve Data.

  6. On the Goals page, review the updated values for each student for the selected goal. For students with no available data, nothing new is added, and existing values are not touched.

Set assessment goal data at the intervention plan

  1. Select any goal under any Intervention plan.

  2. Click Set Goal Data.

  3. Save selections by clicking Set Data, and then Save Goal.

    • The Intervention linked with the plan will auto-populate fields with pre-set values.

Modified prepopulated fields

  • While retrieving data for assessments, if the user modifies a prepopulated field, users are given the option to delink the set goal data reference from the plan.

  • Delinking means the intervention is no longer linked to the plan but will behave independently. The intervention is prepopulated based on whatever parameters the user saved after delinking.

Note that the system ensures district-specific data retrieval for multi-district tenants and district-specific retrieval for single-district tenants. Detailed options and parameters cater to various user preferences for defining time frames and behavior types.

Attendance data retrieval for MTSS intervention goals

You can now integrate attendance data with your intervention goals to assess student performance based on user-defined parameters.

How to access the feature

  1. Navigate to Utility Apps, MTSS Interventions, and All Interventions.

    • Dataset: absent or presence (full or tardy)

    • Score Calculation: the count or percentage of presence or absence attendance for the student

  4. In the Data Preview panel, review the populated student data and calculated values.
