Risk Analysis Detail

Student ID

The student's code or ID number for the SIS system. This is padded with proceeding zeros to seven positions (e.g., 82901 becomes 0082901).

Age

The student's age in years - computed from Birthdate. This is the current age of an Active student, and the age at withdrawal date if Inactive.

Status

A high-level status grouping: Active, Pre-Enrolled, Expelled, Transferred-Out, Graduated, etc.

Ethnicity

The student's primary racial background: American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black, Hispanic, Unknown/Unspecified, White.

Current School

School name where the student is currently enrolled - Beechcroft High School, Welcome Center at North, Prof. Inst. Walnut Ridge Hs, etc.  Use in reports & analyses only as a student attribute - enrollment fact data should be used for student profiles.

Grade

The student's grade level.

Current Cumulative GPA

The student's cumulative GPA calculated and frozen from the previous school year.  This is the unweighted GPA.

Mobility

The number of times a student has changed schools during the past 365 days (past 12 months).

ELL

Indicates whether the student is currently active in an English as a Second Language program (Yes or No)?  If the student is withdrawn and was participating in ESL at the time of withdrawing then they will be set to Yes.

Language

The student's primary language:  English, Spanish, Hmong, Urdu, etc.  The default of null to English is in synch with most State Reporting.

SPED

Indicates (Yes/No) whether the student is currently receiving special education services (either in regular classroom or special ed unit).

Risk Status

Status may be active or inactive. Active is the most recent risk level, inactive shows historical risk status.

Risk Identified Date

The date of the record.

Expire Date

The date that the prediction moved from current (active) to the previous prediction (inactive).

Risk Type

The prediction factor category.

Risk Type

Multiple factors in each data domain may be included. Which factors are displayed will vary based on grade level and district data.

Risk Level

High, Moderate, and Low are the levels of risk calculated. Cut scores for high, moderate, and low risk can be found on the Cut Scores - Risk Analysis dashboard.

Cut Score Range

Importance Variable

The name of the data element utilized in the prediction for the probability of on time graduation.

Factor Weight

The factor weight for each variable as it relates to probability of on time graduation. The larger the number (both positive and negative) the more important the variable.

Grade

The student's grade level.

Predictive Input

The name of the data element which was utilized in this week's prediction for on time graduation. The predictive model runs weekly and the items listed, and/or their order of importance, may change.
