ContentNav Library/Schoology

ContentNav users have access to the PowerBuddy for Content tool when creating or editing user-created materials.

When creating and editing content, the PowerBuddy for Content icon will be displayed in the rich text editor toolbar. This button includes a tooltip displaying Generate Content and will launch a modal where content creators have a jumping-off point to use AI to efficiently create learning materials that can be refined further by the content creator after it is added into the editor.
The generated content can be regenerated, edited, and incorporated into the Edit Material modal. After it is saved, this content can be added to a Playlist or a Schoology course.

Adding materials to a playlist includes a confirmation message

A user receives clear confirmation messaging when materials are successfully added to a playlist. This confirmation also allows users to open the Edit Playlist modal for the respective playlist.

Tooltip included on Add button

A tooltip will display when a user hovers over the Add button to indicate to where selected materials or playlists will be added upon click.

Standards selector improvements

The Standards selector will allow users to immediately begin text-based searching instead of first requiring a filter selection. The filters are moved to a drop-down menu accessible from the filter button.

ContentNav Admin

AI Passage generator is active by default

The PowerBuddy for Content feature will be active for all paid customers but can be deactivated upon request. The feature is active for all users with access to create ContentNav materials. A request to deactivate the feature will deactivate it for all users within an organization.

Allotments- All PowerSchool products that use PowerBuddy are assigned specific usage allotments that apply to all of the PowerBuddy features within the product. For example, in PowerBuddy for Learning, one allotment is used each time you generate or regenerate content. Districts receive usage allotments that automatically renew annually on July 1. Designated district contacts will receive email notifications when allotments reach low thresholds and when there are no remaining allotments. Additional usage is available for purchase.
