Create a Material

Materials are used within ContentNav in a variety of ways. Individual materials can be used on their own, or they can be added to playlists. Instructors can create their own materials for their students in addition to using materials purchased from one of the ContentNav Partners.

To create a new material:

1. Navigate to the Library tab, and select My Content from the Content Sources filter.

2. Click Create, and select Material from the drop-down menu.

3. Select a Material type:

   1. Add from URL: Link to an external webpage or material.

   2. Upload File: Add an image, text, audio, or video file.

   3. Interactive: Add an interactive presentation, video, or game.

   4. Create Content: Add Rich Text content.

4. Fill in the Create New Material form, and click Create.
