Course and group profile images

Overview

Profile images help users to identify a course or group. By default, courses and groups display a default image. However, you can upload an image or choose from other images.

Change a course or group profile image

1. Navigate to a course or group and open its profile.

2. Hover over the image and select Edit Picture.

3. Choose an image or click Attach File to select and upload an image.

4. Optionally, select Edit Thumbnail to drag and resize the thumbnail version of the image. 

The tile images in the Courses and Groups menus resize with your screen. If you want to display specific content in those menus, create a square image with the content centered vertically and horizontally. 

Remove a profile image

1. Navigate to a course or group and open its profile.

2. Hover over the image and select Edit Picture.

3. Select Remove Picture. The profile will display the default image.
