Hide grades

Course admins can hide grades from students using several methods.

• Use Visibility Settings in Grade Setup to hide overall grades, grading period grades, or total points in the student grade report. 

• Unpublish a course material to hide the grade from students. Your gradebook will display the grade, but students will not be able to access the material or the grade.

• Disable View Submissions for tests with subjective questions to hide grades from students until all responses are graded. Alternatively, add a zero-point subjective question so grades appear as N/A or –/total points possible until grading is complete.
