Overview
Customize your account’s level of privacy to determine who can review the following content associated with your account:
Profile
Updates
Media albums
Groups
Courses
Badges
Email
Portfolios
Blog
Messaging
Manage privacy settings
Depending on the settings at your organization, access to content areas may vary within Privacy Settings.
By default, non-faculty users do not have the ability to connect, and student-to-student messaging is disabled.
Click your name and then select Settings.
From your account, select Privacy Settings.
Click a cell to allow or remove content access for the user. Options may vary depending on your account type. Cells with lock icons denote thresholds set by your organization. Review the Privacy settings details table for more information.
Privacy settings details
Users | Details |
---|---|
Everyone | Anyone with access to the Internet can access the feature, including non-Schoology members worldwide. |
Schoology users | Anyone logged in to Schoology can access the feature, including Schoology users in other schools. |
Organization | Anyone in your organization can access the feature. |
School | Any users in the same school with which you are associated can access the feature. If you are in multiple schools, users can see features marked at the school privacy level in all buildings with which you are associated. |
Connections | Only users with whom you’re connect can access the feature. |
No one | The feature is hidden from everyone. |
