Split View of the Schoology App (iOS)

Split view lets users run two apps side by side on supported iPads (iPad Pro, iPad 5th gen, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 4).

With split view, you can use the Schoology iOS app alongside another app for multitasking. For example, you can open a student’s Google Drive assignment from Schoology and grade it at the same time, without switching between apps.

Use split view with the Schoology iOS app

1. Open the Schoology app.

2. Access the Dock by using your device’s standard gesture.

3. On the Dock, touch and hold the second app that you want to open, and then drag it to the screen. This will open the app in slide-over view.

4. If the app opens in Slide Over, drag the handle to expand the view.

Drag and drop to adjust the split view display:

• Drag the app divider to the center of the screen to give the apps equal space.

• Swipe down from the top of the app to turn a split view into a slide over.

• Drag the app divider over the app that you want to close.
