Student annotations (instructors)

Overview

Instructors can create assignments where students annotate a file. Teachers can attach a file once without needing to upload or assign it individually.

Students can use the annotation options to:

  • Add a text box.

  • Add shapes.

  • Highlight parts of the attachment.

  • Draw or write with the pen tool.

Type annotations, like underlining and highlighting, only work for text within an uploaded document. Type annotations do not work on images, even if the image is of text.
