Disable Immersive Reader
If a district activates Immersive Reader, teachers can manage its availability at the course level.

By default, Immersive Reader is activated for each course.

To deactivate Immersive Reader, go to Course Options and select Edit Privacy/Course View Settings, then choose Disable Immersive Reader.

After it’s deactivated, the Immersive Reader option is no longer available for that course.
If Immersive Reader is deactivated at the course level, but is activated for other areas, updates will still display the Immersive Reader button.
Google Drive and OneDrive assignments
Immersive Reader is available on the Assignment tab and supports interaction with the assignment description in Google Drive and OneDrive assignments.
However, it does not interact with text from:

In Progress items
-
Submissions
-
File attachments
