| Item Creation | Conditional Scoring Option Added to Item Editor | In the Item Editor, users can create a machine-scored two-part item in which an incorrect response in the first interaction results in a score of zero for the entire item. This simulates an item type commonly used on state assessments. The scoring logic only applies if: * This conditional scoring is limited to items that have two choice interactions. * The choice interactions must be perfect scoring. Partial scoring at the interaction level is not allowed. After adding two choice interactions that satisfy this specific logic, the Conditional Scoring option is enabled in the Item Editor and applied to the item. If you need to remove this logic, remove the Conditional Scoring block from the interaction. You can find an example of this conditional scoring under the Multiple Choice/Response Interaction section of Examples in the Item Editor. |
| Item Creation | Item Editor Spell Checker Upgraded to Latest Version | The Item Editor spell checker tool has been upgraded to the latest version. Red underlines alert item authors of spelling errors, and blue lines indicate grammar mistakes. |
| Manage Organization | School Year Roll Settings Updates | In Manage Organization, the Roll Date field under School Year Roll Settings is now read-only. After the end of the school year, the snapshot date is entered and the Roll Date is automatically set to be the following day. |
Online Testing | Online Math Tools Update | Online math tools (like the protractor, ruler, compass, and straight edge) now work simultaneously during online test administration. Students can select from the tools enabled for the test section and use them simultaneously, as they have been able to do with the calculator tools. |
| Reports | New Tab with SubGroups Added in Comparative Results Report | In Comparative Results, an additional tab is now available to provide educators standard averages across subgroups. Use the subgroup data, in addition to the existing report functionality, to compare standard averages across more than one test, school, or any of the additional filter criteria available to improve student outcomes. |
