AI generation | Generate items based on a passage | Now available as part of the paid add-on suite of PowerBuddy for Assessment, users can generate items based on a passage resource. Users can select an existing passage resource, paste text, or generate a new passage using generative AI, then generate several multiple-choice items based on that content. These items and passages can be used directly in a Performance Matters item bank or assessment. |
Assessments | Improvements to test format settings - Text-to-Speech (Read Aloud) and Magnify | The Magnify option in Test Format Settings works in conjunction with the Read Aloud option. This allows you to choose whether to magnify text as it is being read aloud. The Magnify option will now become available only after you select the Read Aloud option. You can still use Read Aloud without the Magnify option. With the 24.5 release, an update will be run to select the Read Aloud option for all active assessments in the current school year that currently only have Magnify selected. |
