Resolved issues
Summary | Description |
|---|---|
Improved drag-and-drop experience | Improved the drag-and-drop experience for students with the following:
|
Calculator tool disappears or only partially display | Resolved an issue where the calculator tool would disappear or only partially display when moving between questions during tests on Chromebooks and PCs. The calculator now consistently appears in full when navigating between questions, improving usability for students during assessments. |
Display issues with Graphing Calculator on Chromebooks | Resolved an issue where the function keyboard was not visible in the Graphing Calculator on Chromebooks at 100% zoom. The calculator interface now displays correctly, and all controls are accessible without adjusting screen zoom. |
Keyboard accessibility instructions are being read aloud as part of items | Keyboard navigation instructions are no longer read aloud by Text-to-Speech in Ordering and Drag and Drop interactions. Students will now only hear the relevant question and answer content. |
Math Entry answers marked incorrect when font or size is edited | Resolved an issue where correct Math Entry answers were marked incorrect if students changed the font style or font size in their responses. This fix ensures that formatting changes do not impact answer correctness. |
Math Entry item will not allow the interaction box to be opened | Some Math Entry questions would not open for editing or viewing answers, especially when using <, >, ≥, or ≤ symbols. This is now resolved. |
MathML rubric display | Resolved issues with MathML in rubrics, including duplicated equations and unwanted symbols appearing in the exemplar area. |
Math processing error and overlapping text when MathML is used in rubrics | Resolved an issue where items with rubrics using MathML showed overlapping text and intermittent “Math Processing Error” messages. MathML now renders correctly in both items and rubrics. |
Renamed resources are not searchable by their updated names | When searching to add resources to an item, the updated resource titles now appear instead of the resource ID. This makes it easier to find and select the correct resources after renaming. |
Timing change for scores for tests delivered via LTI | For those Performance Matters assessments delivered through an LTI service in Schoology or Canvas LMS, there has been a change in the timing for processed scores. When an LTI assessment includes both machine-scored and manual-scored items, no points earned scores will be sent until all manual-scored items are scored in Performance Matters. This means points earned for individual items and the total assessment will be delayed until grading is fully finished. Previously, machine-scored items were sent immediately, which sometimes resulted in misleading total scores. To ensure accuracy, we now wait until the entire assessment is graded before sending any scores. |
