This metric block provides a count of all students who are considered absent, per the district's ADA/ADM rules, within the last five school days as of the end of the day yesterday. Click the number to display the list of students. All students considered absent in the specified time frame are displayed when drilling into the metric, even if their current status is inactive.

Absent Yesterday
This metric block provides a count of all students who are considered absent, per the district's ADA/ADM rules, for the previous school day. Click the number to display the list of students.

The primary reason is the one assigned if both morning & afternoon absence reasons matched, or if only a single reason was assigned for the morning or afternoon, or the morning reason if morning & afternoon reasons differ. If a class spans 2 or 3 periods it will typically have 2 or 3 absence entries (one for each period) and the reason could potentially vary and the primary reason would be the most cited one. Typical values include Unexcused, Medical, Athletic, NA (Not Applicable), etc. Reasons can (and often do) vary by School. |
