Are incidents decreasing week over week?
This metric displays the number of discipline incidents entered into the SIS, totaled on a week-by-week basis. Multiple years are displayed so that they can be compared against one another.

Dimension | Week (METADATA) - The number of the instructional week in the calendar of the district or school (1,2,3…). Typically values 1 through 36 or 40 and set to 0 for days that are not included in a defined instructional week. |
Dimension | Year The school year for the related school. 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, etc. Note that dates outside the defined school year are set to School Year of 0. |
Measure | # Offenses The number of discipline incidences entered into the system. |
What is the change in incidents by year?
This metric displays the number of discipline incidents entered into the SIS, totaled on an annual basis. This information is organized by incident group. Individual incident types can be filtered by utilizing the Incident Type filter under Filter Data. All incidents are included, even if the student is no longer enrolled, allowing for a quick year-by-year comparison of the frequency of specific violations.

What is the change in action usage by year?
This metric displays the number of actions entered into the SIS totaled on an annual basis. All actions are included, even if the student is no longer enrolled, allowing for a quick year-by-year comparison of the frequency of use of specific action types.

How is our use of actions changing week over week?
This metric displays the number of actions entered into the SIS totaled on a week-by-week basis. The stacked bar will break out the different action types in the system. This allows for patterns of action used over the course of the school year to be more easily identified.

This metric only populates with data if your school district uses Incident Management in PowerSchool SIS to track behavior data.
