MTSS security settings

Use the following security roles to grant your staff members access to interventions. Role-level security controls staff access to student data.

Use the Access to All Assigned Students option for the roles to allow access to all students assigned to an intervention regardless of the staff's permission to the students.

  • Interventions Browser - Staff assigned to the intervention as either the creator or provider can review and edit intervention details.
  • Interventions Publisher - Allows the same access as the Interventions Browser role. Staff can also create interventions from a public template and delete them.
  • Interventions Publisher with Private Templates - Allows the same access as the Interventions Publisher role. Staff can also create, edit, and delete private intervention templates.
  • Interventions Publisher with Private/Public Templates - Allows the same access as the Interventions Publisher role. Staff can also create, edit, and delete public and private intervention templates and change their private interventions to public.
  • Interventions District Manager - Allows the same access as the Interventions Publisher role. Staff can also manage all interventions and templates for their district.
  • Interventions District Administrator - Allows the same access as the Interventions District Manager role. Staff can also manage the Member Types, Enroll/Withdraw Reasons, Levels, and Types defined for their district.

Intervention settings are applied at a tenant-wide level. The district administrator will maintain the types for all districts within their assigned tenant code.
  • Interventions Global Administrator - Allows the same access as the Interventions District Manager role. Staff can also manage the Member Types, Enroll/Withdraw Reasons, Levels, and Types defined for all districts.
