Link Schoology Materials to Lesson Planner in Curriculum & Instruction

Teachers can now access the Curriculum & Instruction Planner directly from Schoology and link existing Schoology materials to lessons or lesson plans. This integration streamlines instructional planning, reduces duplication, and makes it easier to organize and reuse resources—helping teachers save time and improve instructional alignment.

Manage user profile photos via auto-import

User profile photos can now be updated through the auto-import area of School Management’s Imports. System Administrators can now schedule updates to user profile photos through the existing auto-import screen.

Group enrollment import for group admins

Group administrators can now bulk import enrollments for the groups they manage when granted permission by a system administrator. From the Add Members screen in a group, authorized group admins can use an Import from file option to upload a CSV/XLS file and add or remove multiple members at once.

The import supports matching users by user unique ID, username, or email address, and will process all valid rows. System admins continue to have access to import group enrollments across the district, while group admins are limited to the specific groups they administer.

Improved app developer request form with clearer guidelines and required company details

We enhanced the Request to be an App Developer page to reduce invalid submissions and clarify eligibility. The form now includes a required Company Website field, an optional App Name field, updated helper text for describing the app, and validation to ensure individual work email addresses and valid URLs. Fields are grouped more logically, with clear indicators for required information and updated guidance to set expectations about review timelines and response requirements.

Flags will persist after grading in Gradebook

All flags in the gradebook will continue to be displayed and associated with a material even after it has been graded. This will increase transparency in the grading process by reducing ambiguity and potential miscommunication between educators, students, and guardians. Admins will have the ability to opt-in for this functionality through Feature Options setting.
