Create course discussions on the Android mobile app (instructors)

Instructors can create graded or ungraded discussions directly from the Schoology Android mobile app. Discussions allow students to engage with course material and each other through threaded conversations.

Create a discussion

1. Tap +.

2. Tap Discussion.

3. Enter the Title and Description, and add the Due Date.

4. Tap Enable Grading to enter the following options:

   1. Max Points

   2. Grade Category

   3. Grading Period

   4. Grading Scale

5. Optionally, attach an item to your assignment by tapping Photo, Video, File, or Resource.

6. Tap the Post icon to complete.

To cancel your discussion, tap the trash icon or tap Back on your device.
