Enhanced Conversational Experience
PowerBuddy for Data Analysis (PBDA) now provides a more intelligent and conversational analytics experience with improved reasoning, explainability, and reliability.
Key improvements include:
-
Improved understanding of user intent for more accurate query generation and results.
-
Enhanced validation of generated queries before returning results.
-
Better handling of zero-record scenarios with explanations instead of failures.
-
User-friendly explanations that highlight key assumptions, filters, and reasoning used to derive results, providing greater transparency and helping users validate results without needing to troubleshoot generated SQL queries directly.
-
Improved support for conversational follow-up questions, allowing users to refine analysis using natural language.
-
Enhanced metadata exploration to help users understand view definitions, calculations, and data relationships.
Note:
Natural language questions are currently supported across core PowerSchool SIS domains, including Attendance, Behavior, Enrollment, Demographics, Grades, Fees, and Assignments.
Support for state reporting tables and customer-specific custom tables is planned for future releases.
