Manage your Dashboard

Overview

The new SchoolMessenger Communicate dashboard provides quick access to all your recent communications, performance statistics, and tools for creating and managing messages.

Key enhancements include:

  • Ability to send new broadcasts from the Dashboard

  • The newly designed Navigation sidebar provides quick access to view recent broadcasts, analyze data, and manage broadcast settings.

  • A quick view of the recent broadcasts list with delivery metrics.

  • An alert banner for important notices.

To view the new interface, click the New SchoolMessenger button.

Manage User account

The Account settings page enables you to manage your personal profile, communication preferences, and user interface settings. Use this page to update your contact details, set your communication preferences, and customize the platform's behavior for you.

The Account settings page is split into four sections:

Account information

Manage your basic user identity and contact preferences here.

Complete the following required fields:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Username

  • Password / Confirm Password

  • Phone User ID: Indicates the ID used for sending a broadcast via a toll-free call-in number.

  • Phone Pin Code: Indicates the PIN used when sending a broadcast via calling in to a toll-free number

  • Confirm Pin

  • Email

  • Auto Report Email: Refers to the email addresses for delivering a broadcast report.

  • Phone

  • SMS

Make sure the Auto Report Email field includes valid addresses so you do not miss important delivery or error reports.

Broadcasts default

Set up your default timing and retry logic for message broadcasts.

  • Default Start Time: The default time used when scheduling a broadcast.

  • Default End Time: The default time used when scheduling a broadcast.

  • Call Attempts: Indicates the number of attempts made to deliver a phone message, if a phone is out of service and has no voicemail setup.

  • Days to Run: This setting indicates whether to continue the broadcast the next day, if a broadcast cannot be completed by the end of the calendar day.

These settings save time by automatically filling in each new broadcast you create.

Post options

The Presence Secret Key allows posting to the customer’s presence website.

Display settings

Customize the appearance and behavior of your interface.

  • Action Links

  • Communicate UI: Indicates the interface the user would land on when logging in.

  • Hide Email Editor Tools
