Streamlined Material Type Support

We removed Instructional Strategy, Lesson Plan, Presentation, Interactive Video, Interactive Slides, and Drag-and-Drop from ContentNav search and ingestion. By retiring underutilized types, we can ensure a faster, more relevant search experience on our most-used content types.

ContentNav will now support only: Webpage, Video, Text, Image, Interactive, Audio, File Download, and HTML

Introducing content usage report

Districts can now access Usage Report in Admin portal to track engagement metrics such as views, likes, and "add to course" and “add to playlist” actions for materials and playlists.

Dedicated Purpose Search Facet

Purpose is now a standalone field for ingestion and search facet, improving content visibility and filtering accuracy. This update separates purpose-driven attributes from the Application facet and introduces an expanded list of categories, including new values for Presentation and Instructional Strategy.

New optional field in API ingestion - Time to Learn

A new field, "Time to Learn," indicates the approximate time a student needs to learn the material in API ingestion.
