Overview
Instructors can grade assignments directly from within the Schoology Android app.
To access the grading panel, open an assignment and tap Grades/Submissions from the main navigation. Choose a student's name from the list to access their submission.
Enter a grade
To grade a submission, use the slider to adjust the numerical score, or enter a score by tapping the field and using the keyboard on your device. Tap the checkmark to save the grade.
Add or edit grades
You can access graded items by tapping the title of the test, quiz, assignment, or discussion.

Tap the title of the graded item.

Tap Grades/Submissions from the menu.

Tap the member's name to add or edit the grade.

Tap the Submissions sub-menu to review submissions.

Use the sliding bar to enter a point value.

Optionally, enter a comment and select or clear Display comment to student.

Tap the checkmark to save.

Repeat these steps for each student in the course.
Grades will not display for grading periods that have not yet started. Graded items without a grading period will populate the appropriate grading category under No Grading Period.
Review final grades
From the Gradebook, tap More, and then select View Final Grades.
Review submissions and add or edit grades

Tap the item you want to grade.

Tap Grades/Submissions from the menu.

Select the student by tapping their name.

Tap the Submissions sub-menu to review submissions.

Use the slider to provide a score for the submission.

Optionally, enter a comment and select Display comment to student.

Tap the checkmark to post the grade.
Grades will not display for grading periods that have not yet started. Graded items without a grading period will populate the appropriate grading categ
Grade with a rubric
To grade a student's submission using a rubric, tap the number for each criterion or enter it in the Pts column. Tap the Info icon in the criteria column to review its description.
Comments can also be added and displayed to your student.

To add a comment corresponding to a specific rubric criterion, tap the Comment icon in the Pts column.

To add a comment for the entire submission, tap Add an overall comment and enter your comment.
The rubric must be attached to the assignment from the web browser to grade an assignment using a rubric from the mobile app.
