Advisor associations come to automated import

You can now manage advisor-student associations via SFTP, enabling seamless updates through your existing automated import.

Grading period selection retained in gradebook

When a course admin chooses a grading period in the gradebook for one course, that grading period will remain as the selected grading period every time they navigate to that course. For linked sections, the grading period chosen for one section will remain when navigating to the other linked sections. This is a cached feature, so if the course admin uses the same device, the grading period last chosen will continue to display.

Kialo Discussion: The free tool for thoughtful, inclusive discussion.

Hold online discussions in an engaging argument-mapping format.

Kialo’s simple pro/con layout helps students to break down complex arguments into manageable chunks. Starting from a central thesis, students add pros and cons, engaging with each other’s arguments to build an interactive map of the entire discussion.

CertMaster LTI Adv: This is an LTI 1.3 tool that provides content access to CompTIA's CertMaster platform. This includes CertMaster Learn, Labs, and Perform content, Essentials content, as well as the Legacy TestOut Pro content. The tool provides Deep Linking to content, SSO, grade syncing, automated user account creation, class creation, class enrollment, and role recognition.

Wayfinder: Wayfinder's online SEL curriculum LTI tool allows the assignment and viewing of toolkit lessons. It also allows students to seamlessly take their weekly waypoints

Lingco Classroom LTI 1.3: Lingco is a digital-first platform designed to make language learning meaningful and effective for students while empowering educators with the tools they need to succeed. Our platform integrates authentic content, real-time data, and customizable resources to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment.

Safari browser limitation for PowerBuddy tools text editor

We've identified an issue where the PowerBuddy tools text editor fails to function when launched in Safari. This is due to a compatibility problem involving Safari and a third-party component. As the issue lies outside our control, we've deactivated the text editor when accessed via Safari to ensure a smoother user experience.

Gradual transition away from the language drop-down menu

The language drop-down menu will be removed from tools throughout the summer. For tools without a drop-down menu, PowerBuddy tools will automatically detect your input language. You can designate a language in the text field if you want a language other than your input language.
