Optimization to User Search within User Management

User search within the User Management screen will operate more quickly and efficiently. It will now also allow the query to contain the users First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name, Username, Email Address, or Unique ID.

Administration

PowerBuddy for Learning customers will be able to review their usage and remaining allotment balance in School Management System settings. Allotments will be tracked each time the Generate button is clicked to generate content for an assignment or discussion. Once the student chat assistant is available, allotments will be tracked for each chat message.

Longer names will now be supported in Schoology

Schoology will now support up to 100 characters each for first name, middle name, last name, and preferred name fields for all users.

Grade comments will be displayed to student by default

With this update, the comments provided by teachers while grading an assignment, through the assignment view page or the gradebook page, will be visible to students by default. If the teachers wish for students to not see those comments, they will need to uncheck the option before moving outside the comment box.

Navigation update for Bulk-edit

Teachers will now have a way to redirect to gradebook screen from the bulk-edit screen by using the breadcrumb hyperlink at the top of the page.

Submission timestamp to be displayed on Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive assignments

Teachers can now access the timestamp of a submission for Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive assignments. The timestamp will display on the submissions tab of the respective students assignment.

Improved ETL Linking in Resources when Importing to a Course

Admins or Teachers will now be able to link external tool providers when in Resources and importing the materials to a course. When importing to a course from resources, Admins or Teachers will see a drop down and can manually select the appropriate external tool provider which will allow the external tool to pass-back the graded assignment into Schoology.
