In-app notifications
Tap the bell icon to display your notifications. These include:

New grades posted

Assignment due date reminders

Course and group updates
-
Comments on your posts

New messages

Overdue assignments
Push notifications
Push notifications alert you on your device's lock screen and notification center. To enable or manage push notifications:
On iOS

Go to your device's Settings, select Notifications, and then choose Schoology.

Toggle Allow Notifications on.

Choose your preferred alert style, either banners, sounds, or badges.
On Android

Go to your device's Settings, select Apps, select Schoology, and then choose Notifications.

Toggle notifications on.

Choose your preferred notification categories.
Email notifications
Email notification preferences are managed in your Schoology account settings on the web, not in the mobile app. You can choose which activity types trigger email alerts.
Disable notifications for specific items
Within a course or group, you can mute notifications by tapping the gear or settings icon and toggling notifications off for that specific course or group.
