25.6

The 25.6 release will be available by

Enhanced Ingestion tool

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a redesigned Unified Ingestion Tool in Admin Portal with the 25.6 release. This major update aims to modernize the ingestion experience and enhance usability for administrators and content managers.

The new Ingestion Tool is now accessible directly within the Admin Portal under a dedicated menu option. This tool is set to eventually replace the legacy ingestion tool currently located in the Library Portal. Refer to Manage data ingestion for more information.

The maximum allowed materials per API request is 100.

To ensure a smooth transition, the legacy ingestion tool will continue to be fully supported until the end of August 2025, providing you with plenty of time to make any necessary adjustments.

What’s New

  • A modernized UI with improved navigation and responsiveness

  • All ingestion actions—CSV and ThinCC uploads, as well as status monitoring for CSV, ThinCC, and API—are now available on a single page in the Admin Portal.

  • New filtering options by date range and catalog to help you quickly narrow down and view the status of ingested content.

What’s Changed

  • Mandatory Fields for Delete Operations: Starting with CN 2.0, the following fields will be required for all delete operations:

    • id (UUID)

    • operation (must be “D” or “delete”)

    • productId (Integer): This is a new field.

  • Deprecated Fields in CN 2.0: The following fields are no longer supported in API and CSV ingestion:

    • etlInSecs

    • contentQualityIndicator

    • publisherQualityIndicator

    • competency

    • license

    • ltiCustomParams

    • isCurated

These changes will not impact any use cases.

  • Bulk Upload & API Request Limits: To support high-volume ingestion more efficiently, we recommend using the Bulk Upload feature for API ingestion of up to 100 materials per API request. This helps you with:

    • Faster ingestion with reduced throttling.

    • Cleaner logs and easier tracking.

    • Simplified troubleshooting for large batches.
