Manage optional features
Use Feature Options to manage optional features for your entire organization.

Click Tools.

Select School Management.

Click Feature Options.

Select the desired features.

Click Save Changes.
To configure this page, you must have permission to Administer Schools and be the System Administrator for the organization or district building.
Feature options include:

Enable Section Override Roles

Enable QR Code Login

Simplified Login with QR Codes (System Admins)

Printing QR Codes (Instructors)

Log in to Schoology with a QR Code (Students)

Enable Course Themes

This enables course administrators to select a Secondary or Elementary Course Theme for a course.

Enable Teacher Access to Student Resources

This gives course administrators access to a student’s Schoology resources when they view a course as a student and submit an assignment for them.

Enable Flag Persistence After Grading

This allows course administrators to add a grade and a flag to student submissions, which will be available to students and parents in the Gradebook.

Include Assignments Tab on Student Homepage

This enables the Assignments tab as the default homepage for students, providing a centralized view of coursework and due dates.
