All image interactions

Alt text is now mandatory for local image uploads

When uploading an image from your local device, you will now be required to enter alternative (alt) text before the image can be added. This change ensures that all newly uploaded images are accessible to users who rely on screen readers. Existing images are not affected by this update.

Interaction font size configuration

Districts can now choose from three default font sizes for all interactions: 14 (new default), 16, or 20. This update enhances accessibility and customization across district interfaces.

To enable a preferred default size, districts must contact PowerSchool Support for configuration.

New Math Entry interaction

Teachers can use the new Math Entry interaction to create questions with complex math expressions. Students can input their responses using a built-in MathML editor.

Key highlights:

• Supports complex math structures, including fractions and exponents.

• Captures student responses through a MathML-based editor.

• Automatically scores interactions based on MathML structure.

Benefit:
Facilitates the creation of higher-order math questions with accurate, auto-scored student responses.

Baseball Card permissions in the Student/Parent portal

The Student/Parent Portal will now be able to hide any folder in Additional Test Results based on permissions added in the Baseball Card report. If a folder has permission only for District Admins, it will now be hidden in the Additional Test Results on the Student/Parent portal.

Print response downloading

Users previously experienced long delays or silent failures when downloading print response reports, which provided no feedback. To improve this, a loading spinner has been introduced to indicate that the report is being generated. Additionally, clear status messages have been added to enhance the user experience.
