Remind is a messaging tool that allows instructors to message students and share content directly within their Schoology course. Organizations with a Remind license can add Remind as an external tool at the system level, so it is available to instructors in all courses. Instructors can then connect their individual Remind accounts to Schoology and access all of their classes and participants.

Installation
To add Remind as an external tool provider, refer to the Install external tool providers page. When filling out the form, use the following values:

Tool Name: The name you want displayed to instructors

Consumer Key: Your organization's Remind consumer key

Shared Secret: Your organization's Remind shared secret

Privacy: Send the name and email or username of the user who launches the tool

Configuration Type: Manual

Match By: Domain

Domain/URL: The Config XML generated credential URL provided by Remind
After configuration, the Remind external tool is automatically available in each course. Instructors can access it in a course by selecting Course Options and choosing External Tool Providers.
Limitations
