Area de Importar de Schoology-Universidad.pdf
Import users, courses, enrollments, group enrollments, schools, and resources into Schoology by uploading a CSV or XLS file, configuring an automated SFTP connection, or scheduling recurring imports from your student information system (SIS).
Schoology is optimized to process imports and exports between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM Eastern Time (ET), Monday through Sunday. Schedule all imports, manual and automated, during this window for optimal performance.

Import workflow
Although each import area has specific fields and requirements, most manual imports follow the same general workflow:
-
Prepare your file.
Create a CSV or XLS file with the required column headers and data. All files require column headers, but Schoology's column-matching interface lets you flexibly map your headers to Schoology fields. -
Select your file.
Navigate to the appropriate import tab and upload your file. -
Match columns.
Map the columns in your file to the corresponding Schoology fields. Schoology attempts to auto-match columns based on header names. -
Preview and confirm.
Review the data preview to verify your mappings are correct, then confirm the import. -
Monitor status.
Check the status log for confirmation that records were created or updated successfully.
General file requirements
-
Accepted formats: CSV (comma-separated values) or XLS (Microsoft Excel)
-
All files must include column headers in the first row
-
Column header names do not need to match Schoology's field names exactly. You map them during the import process
-
Use pipe characters ( | ) to separate multiple values in a single field, such as Q1|Q2|Q3.
-
Unique User IDs must be unique across the entire institution, including across roles
-
Course Codes may not be reused across multiple schools. Prepend a unique school identifier if needed, such as 123_AM_HIST.
