Use PowerSchool Messaging to send and receive chat messages with school staff.
Some messages from your school or district may also be sent as text messages (SMS) to your mobile phone.
If SMS messaging is enabled, you can:

Receive messages by text instead of (or in addition to) the app

Reply directly by text message

Use keywords like STOP or HELP to manage messages
SMS messages are sent only if you have a verified mobile number and have consented to receive text messages.

Send messages

To send a new message, select New Message.

Enter the contact names and the message to send.

If you send a message to more than one contact and create a group chat, you can optionally enter a Group name.

If you want to send a message to more than one contact but do not want to create a group chat, select Message recipients individually.

Select Send.
Reply to a message thread

Select an item from your inbox. You can search by contact or group name.

Enter the message and select Send.

Optionally, reply to a specific message in the conversation by selecting the message options menu and choosing Reply.

Optionally, upvote a message by clicking the emoji icon on the message and then clicking the thumbs-up icon.
