Sorted Enrollment & Withdrawal Reasons

We've made it easier to manage student statuses.

• In the settings, all enrollment and withdrawal reasons are now neatly grouped by Enroll, Completed, and Withdrawal. The reasons in each group are sorted alphabetically.

• When you add a student to an intervention, you will now only see enrollment reasons, which are also sorted alphabetically to help you find the right one faster.

MTSS Student Plans

Updated the Student Plans application to only display the student's active Student ID

Based on customer feedback, the Student Plans application has been updated to display only the student's active Student ID, instead of listing all student IDs when transferring between districts.

1. If student is active at two schools, the student ID for the respective school will display.

2. If student is inactive at original school and active at another school, the student ID for the active student record will display and student won’t display in original district.

3. If the student is inactive in two schools, the student ID for the respective school will display.

Faster loading for school filter on intervention page

Fixed a bug to improve the loading speed of the School filter on the Intervention listing page.

Manage Groups (UIHN)

Cohort member updates to allow for infinite imports and duplicate member detection improvements.

1. The cohort member query is no longer restricted by the query maximum rows property.

   1. All cohort members will be displayed in the list when editing a cohort.

   2. Can add “infinite” amounts of members at once when editing a cohort.

2. The cohort member table now displays the count of members above the table as “There are X members.”.

3. The notification shown when bulk adding cohort members has been adjusted to read: “X members were resolved from X lookup values. X new members were added to the group. X members already existed in the group.”

4. There was an issue with duplicate member detection that should now be resolved (i.e. if you added a member that already existed in the cohort, it wouldn’t detect them as being in the cohort and would re-add them).

Enhanced Geospatial data integration for new deployments

Previously, geospatial data was not appearing in the dashboard despite successful ETL completions. This affected multiple customers for which we implemented a solution to ensure geospatial data is now correctly displayed, enhancing the overall data visibility and user experience.

X-DW-ETL

Enhanced Metadata Synchronization for DW Element and Entities tables

Addressed an issue affecting the metadata in the Data Warehouse's Elements and Entities tables. This update ensures that the metadata now accurately reflects the latest assessment changes and improvements, eliminating inconsistencies and outdated information.

Corrected mismatch of data types for STUDENT_GENDER and STUDENT_CURRENT_GRADE_CODE fields

Addressed datatype mismatches in the KM_STUDENT_ATTRIBS fields for the following two student fields:

• STUDENT_GENDER is varchar(10) while it should be varchar(50).

• STUDENT_CURRENT_GRADE_CODE is varchar(5) while it should be varchar(50).

Enabled DevTools users to change the "SE" naming across metric & column names by modifying the SPEDLabel variable

Updated all standard dashboard content referenced as “SE” to use @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel) in titles, column labels, filters, and style templates.

• Changes affect multiple metrics in Enrollment, Withdrawals, Programs, Student Profile, and Demographics dashboards.

• Enabled customers with Dev Tools access to manually update the variable SPEDLabel as a custom override and which changes the following:

  • Enrollment:

    • Admissions > YTD New SE metric with the updated title: YTD New @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel)

    • Admissions > 5-Day New SE metric with the updated title: 5-Day New @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel)

    • Withdrawals > YTD Withdrawn SE metric with the updated title: YTD Withdrawn @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel)

    • Programs > Where are SWD students receiving services? metric with the updated title: Where are @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel) students receiving services?

  • Updated the following column label:

    • Content Definitions > Columns > PowerSchool Standard > Standard > Students> Annualized > Dimensions > Student SPED Annual to use the Column Label to (replace SE) with @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel).

    • Content Definitions > Columns > PowerSchool Standard > Standard > Students> Current > Dimensions > Student SPED to use the Column Label to (replace SE) with @@VARIABLE(SPEDLabel).

Student Analytics, Behavior Overview, What is the change in action usage by year? is updated.

Student Analytics, Behavior Overview, What is the change in action usage by year? is debugged to show correct count of Actions at aggregate and student detail page:

• At What is the change in action usage by year? metric, we are now showing correct actions count.

• At student detail page of What is the change in action usage by year?, we now show # of Actions instead of # Offences.

Updated Enrollment dashboard mobility metric drill through to include prior school column

Updated Enrollment Overview dashboard’s Mobility metric drill through to include a new column to the right of the Current School column to display the “Previous School”. This will populate when students have transferred within district to provide users with greater context/background for transferring students.

Updated the Student Datawall to remove 504 & Gifted columns (reverting with 25.6.2.0)

Due to variations in state-specific queries, the Student Analytics and Student Datawall content has the 504 and Gifted columns. 

Note – This change will be reverted in the coming 25.6.2.0 release to return both 504 & Gifted columns to the Student Datawall dashboard.  The anticipated 25.6.2.0 deployment date is 9/13/2025.

Updated the Withdrawal dashboard's Programs filter to use annualized status instead of current status

Improved the filtering functionality for the Enrollment, Programs filter where users previously experienced issues where filters did not work correctly by displaying unrelated programs like Special Education. This update ensures that only the selected program filters are applied, providing a more accurate and streamlined user experience.

Updated MTSS Intervention nightly ELT processing to extract intervention notes text to data warehouse

Enhanced the nightly ETL process for MTSS Interventions to include extraction of intervention notes text into the data warehouse. This change is only for the nightly ETLs and does not impact current Intervention content.  We plan to have updated Intervention Analytics content that utilize the notes text with the 25.10.0.0 release.

Corrected issue with the Usage, Tenant Configuration Behavior Settings metric to correctly display Incident Management values

Updated the Usage, Tenant Configuration dashboard, that was exposed in the 25.6.0.0 release to correctly display Incident Management values in the Current Behavior Configuration Settings metric to include all applicable configuration options.

Removed the ellipsis/menu options from Usage, Tenant Configuration dashboard metrics.

Based on the change from the prior 25.6.0.0 release to expose the Usage, Tenant Configuration dashboard to District Administrator user roles, we removed the ellipsis/menu options from displayed on that dashboard as there are no export or menu options for the available metrics.

Enabled support for dual state-specific queries for California (CA) to support older and newer SIS logic

Based on California (CA) customers' feedback, the state-specific queries were updated California (CA) State-specific queries to support two versions of SPED/SE logic to support both reporting methods.

Filtering on dashboards

Filtering is now working as expected on all columns on dashboards. Any null or empty values will always show at the top of the results when sorting by ascending and at the bottom when sorted b descending.

Corrected a timeout issue on the School Standards Progress dashboard

Resolved a timeout issue on the School Standards Progress dashboard content by updating the configuration settings, the dashboard now loads efficiently, enhancing the user experience.

Updated the student count sort order logic for the Essentials, Academics, AP, and “What AP courses are students taking?” metrics.

Corrected Box & Whisker metric field sort order to display correctly

Corrected a regression from a previous release’s Highcharts upgrade that affected our Box & Whisker metrics, causing them to sort incorrectly. This release updates the column sort order for proper display of this metric type. Below are the corrected metrics based on their navigation paths:

To address potential edge cases involving students who should have graduated but are enrolled in Summer School, we updated the following Withdrawal dashboard metric subtitle by removing “excluding those promoted or graduated.”

  • Updated Subtitle: "Withdrawal reasons for students in the current school year."

OST Data not transferring to Student Data Wall

Addressed a critical issue affecting customers experiencing 2024-2025 OST scores being successfully imported but were not transferring to the Student Data Wall in Risk Analysis. This was due to an edge case in the core code and overlapping custom cut scores. We've refined the logic to ensure seamless data transfer and updated the thresholds to prevent future overlaps. This enhancement ensures that educators have reliable access to student performance data for informed decision-making.

Fixed Risk Analysis PREDICTION_MEASURE_VALUE logic in R_QUERY view

Updated to the logic in the R_QUERY view on the Data Lake to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Previously, NULL values were incorrectly replaced with zeros in the PREDICTION_MEASURE_VALUE field. This has now been corrected to maintain the original NULL values, enhancing the reliability of data predictions across all environments, including SQL Server and Snowflake.

Corrected Usage dashboard issue when dates were between YET rollover and the start of the school year

Based on an issue with school dates and the year-end transition (YET), we corrected the code to resolve the "no data found" error message on the Usage dashboard. The Usage dashboards now display data according to the Date Range filter, which defaults to the first day of school and the day before the current date.

Modified Usage dashboard school year filter to account for summer transition for reporting

Corrected the usage of the dashboard's max school year filter, which caused metrics to appear blank because the next school year had not yet started. Changed the condition from SCHOOL_YEAR = CYTD to SCHOOL_YEAR > PYTD.
