Update label variables

Follow these steps to update the default labels and filter names for both SPED and ELL in your Student Analytics dashboard.

1. Log in and Access the Dashboard

• Go to: <https://clientcode.hoonuit.com/Dashboard/login/login.jsp>

• Log in using your credentials or SSO.

• Navigate to: Dashboards > Student Analytics > Overview > Performance Indicators

2. Open Developer Tools and Update Label Variables

1. Click the Developer Tools icon.

2. Expand the Variables section.

3. For each label you want to update:

   • SPED Label:

     • Locate and select SPEDLabel.

   • ELL Label:

     • Locate and select ELL_Label.

4. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon for the selected variable.

5. Check the UPDATE OVERRIDE VALUES box.

6. Under Static Expression Settings > Static Value, enter your preferred label:

   • For SPED: e.g., “SPED”, “SWD”, “LSS”

   • For ELL: e.g., “ELL”, “ML”, “EL”, “NLL”

7. Click SAVE.

8. Refresh the dashboard to confirm the updated label(s) are displayed.

3. Update Filter Names for SPED and ELL

1. In the dashboard, click Filter Data.

2. Open Developer Tools again.

3. Expand: Student Analytics > Overview > Filters

4. For each filter you want to update:

   • SPED Filter:

     • Select the SPED filter.

   • ELL Filter:

     • Select the ELL filter (listed under SPED).

5. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon for the selected filter.

6. Check the UPDATE OVERRIDE VALUES box.

7. In Control Label Style > Control Label, replace the default text with your preferred label (e.g., for SPED: “SPED”, “SWD”; for ELL: “ML”, “EL”).

8. Click SAVE at the top of the pane.

9. Return to the dashboard and refresh.

10. Click Filter Data again to verify the filter names now reflect your updates.
