If parents and students already have Schoology accounts within your organization, system administrators can manually associate parent and student accounts without importing a file or distributing access codes. This method is appropriate when accounts already exist and you only need to create the parent-child link.
Use this method only if both the parent and student already have existing Schoology accounts.
-
Set up and distribute Parent Access Codes if parents do not yet have accounts and you want them to self-register.
-
Import parent accounts and parent-child associations to bulk-create parent accounts and associations from a file.
-
Create parent accounts via a student information (SIS) sync if your SIS supports automatic provisioning.
