The Infinite Campus SIS integration allows system administrators to provision schools, terms, users, courses, sections, and enrollments from Infinite Campus to Schoology Learning. Instructors can use the Infinite Campus app to pass grading categories, graded items, and grades from Schoology to Infinite Campus.
The integration uses the IMS Global OneRoster standard to roster data and pass grades from Schoology to Infinite Campus. This helps keep roster and grade data in sync and reduces duplicate data entry.
Integration requirements
Before installing and configuring the Infinite Campus app:
-
Contact your Infinite Campus representative to obtain your API information, including your Infinite Campus OneRoster Domain, Consumer ID, Consumer Secret Key, and SIS Authentication URL.
-
If passing grades back across multiple school buildings within the district, verify that your organization has a district-wide Learning license from Infinite Campus.
-
Contact your Schoology representative to enable the Infinite Campus app and assist with integration onboarding.
-
Verify that usernames in Infinite Campus do not contain spaces. Usernames with spaces do not sync from Infinite Campus to Schoology.
-
Ensure master schedules are finalized and set to active in Infinite Campus before running course and section syncs to prevent trial schedule duplication.
-
Work with your Schoology onboarding team to review and run the Data Prep tool before starting full provisioning syncs.
OneRoster specifications

Integration limitations
-
Attendance data does not transfer from Schoology to Infinite Campus because the OneRoster standard API does not support attendance. Contact your Schoology representative for best practice guidance on attendance workflows.
-
Grading Task mapping for assignments is not supported. Grading tasks must match between linked and cross-listed sections for successful grade passback.
-
Grading scales, weightings, and standards-based grade passback are not supported.
-
Ungraded items (items not assigned to a mapped grading category) do not sync to Infinite Campus.
