Log View and Auto FTP Mapping

Use Log View and Auto FTP Mapping to monitor file imports, including those initiated automatically, on your behalf, or by you via the Data Uploader.

Log View

Review file information, table mappings, upload status, upload and processing time stamps, table IDs, source file names, record counts, the user who performed the upload, if the file is set to import automatically, and notes about the upload.

  1. From the main navigation menu, choose Admin, then choose Log View.
  2. Click Log View.
  3. To narrow the list of displayed logs, use the Search Logs menu.
  4. To display an uploaded table, click the log Upload ID link. Optionally, click Export to export the first 500 rows.

  5. Click the Table link to display the table mapping.

To display all content, you may need to scroll to display the page and individual file or file mapping.

If a file is set to Auto Import (indicated by a true value in the AutoImport column), the file is automatically uploaded during the nightly import. If the AutoImport setting is false, you must manually import the file.

Auto FTP Mapping

Review the table name, source file name, login information, the timestamp for the last file, whether the file is set to automatic import, the last record count, the column delimiter, and whether the file is set to include the file header.

  1. From the main navigation menu, choose Admin, then choose Log View.
  2. Click Auto FTP Mapping View.
  3. To limit the display, enter search terms that match values in the Table Name, Source File Name, and Login fields.
  4. Click the Table Name link to display the table mapping.
