Offense Trend

Are we reducing the occurrence of offenses trend?

This metric displays the number of discipline offenses entered into the SIS, organized by offense type or group. Data is presented as horizontal bar charts showing year-over-year totals across school years (e.g., 2023–2024, 2024–2025, 2025–2026). The x-axis represents the number of offenses recorded per type or group.

All offenses are included regardless of the student's current enrollment status. By default the page loads with Offense type view which can be changed to offense group from Filter. Individual offense types or groups can be filtered using the Offense Type or Group filter in Filter Data to focus on specific violations.

This view helps quickly identify whether the frequency of offenses is increasing, decreasing, or remaining stable over time.
