Overview
Create portfolios to collect, organize, and share work, achievements, and reflections. Add Schoology assignments, files, links, or portfolio web pages.
You can create an unlimited number of portfolios; however, portfolios can’t be organized into sub-folders.
Enable portfolio access
System administrators must enable portfolio access.

Select Tools > User Management.

Select Permissions.

Under Users, go to portfolio permissions.

Select permissions for each role.
Access portfolios

Click your name and select Your Profile.

Select Portfolios.
Create a portfolio

Click your name and select Your Profile.
-
Select Portfolios.
-
Click New Portfolio.

Enter a Title and Description.

Optionally, edit the image.

Select Add Portfolio Items, choose an option, and follow the prompts. You can also drag and drop files.

Optionally, drag items to reorder them, undo your last action, or click the empty circle to publish.

Google Drive and OneDrive Assignment submissions are not supported. Export the document as a file or use a shareable link.

Resources items can’t be added to portfolios.

Some websites may be blocked by browser security. Use the browser icon instructions or open the page in a new tab.

If a course has more than 200 assignments, add missing submissions from the assignment with Add to Portfolio.
Edit portfolio items
Open a content card to edit its title, image, details, or items.
Share your portfolio
Use a portfolio’s More Options menu to generate a private share link or download the portfolio as a ZIP file for offline access.
Generate a private link to your portfolio

Click your name and select Your Profile.

Select Portfolios.

Select the portfolio’s More Options > Share Portfolio.

Copy the link to share it.
Anyone with the link can view the portfolio, even if it’s unpublished or privacy settings restrict access.
Reset your private link
Reset your portfolio URL to prevent access for anyone with the previous link.

Click your name and select Your Profile.

Select Portfolios.

Select the portfolio’s More Options > Share Portfolio.

Select Reset Link.
Share your portfolio from your profile
Depending on the settings configured by your admin, your published portfolios may be reviewable by:

Anyone who has the URL

Anyone with a Schoology account
-
Any Schoology user in your district
-
Any Schoology user in your school
-
Only Schoology users to whom you’re connected
-
No one
You can further restrict the sharing permissions for your portfolios by changing your settings.
Change your sharing permissions

Click your name and select Settings.

Select Privacy Settings.
-
For Portfolios, choose who can view your published portfolios. Admin settings can’t be changed.

Click Save Changes.
These settings apply to all your portfolios.
Export your portfolio

Click your name and select Your Profile.
-
Select Portfolios.
-
Select the portfolio’s More Options > Export to ZIP.

Optionally, monitor download progress from the arrow.

Unpack the ZIP and open Index.html from the root folder.

Click any list item to open it on a new page.
Review another user’s portfolio
To review another user’s published portfolio, open their profile and click Portfolio.
To message the user, click Send Feedback, if available.
