Use question banks

Add questions from a question bank to a test/quiz

Use question banks to build tests and quizzes.

Add individual questions from a question bank

  1. Navigate to a course.

  2. Select Add Materials and choose Add Test/Quiz from the list.
    Alternatively, select a previously created test/quiz.

  3. From Questions, click Add Question.

  4. Select From Question Banks.

  5. From Import from Question Banks, select Individual Questions.

  6. Select the question bank.

  7. Select the questions to import.
    Alternatively, select Auto-select, enter the number of questions, and click Select.

  8. Enter a value for each question to set its point value.
    Alternatively, click Set Points and enter a value in Points Per Question.

  9. Click Add Questions.

Add a random selection of questions from one or more question banks

  1. Navigate to a course.

  2. Select Add Materials and choose Add Test/Quiz from the list.
    Alternatively, select a previously created test/quiz.

  3. From Questions, click Add Question.

  4. Select From Question Banks.

  5. From Import from Question Banks, select Random Questions.

  6. From Select Question Banks, select one or more question banks.

  7. Click Select Question Banks.

  8. From Add Random Questions, enter the number of questions to generate from each bank and each question’s point value.

  9. Click Add Questions.

    • Each quiz contains the selected number of questions.

    • Each student receives a unique set of questions.
