Depending on your account settings, Communicate’s translation feature allows you to translate English email, phone, and text messages into over 100 languages. Use this list as a guide to determine which languages are available for each message type.
In addition to your district’s account settings, translation availability will also depend on which communications platforms (Twilio or Syniverse) and short code your district uses.

SMS is not activated by default on your SchoolMessenger Communicate account and requires setup. Contact PowerSchool Support to confirm you’re using the correct short code.

SMS support for partially supported languages is available on short codes 64779 and 67587. It is not supported on short codes 88544, 68453, and 724665.

A language may be listed but not available for translation if its code wasn’t included in your data import or isn’t activated for your account. Contact PowerSchool Support for assistance.
